Our first stay at a Boondockers Welcome site did not disappoint! We were greeted by some very organized chickens, who were happy to share some raspberries with us.
Tim and his wife Cathy were lovely hosts. We had a relaxing and quiet evening at their little farm on our way to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park.

Boondockers Welcome is a network of private individuals who graciously share their land with folks on the road. The hosts’ properties range from wilderness to urban driveways. They generally do not offer hookups, though some do.
In addition to the raspberries, we also got to sample some very fresh eggs, honey, and garden zucchini!
We are so grateful for the generosity of folks like Tim and Cathy, and hope to meet many more like them as we make our way across the Northeast and beyond.

We have a 44 foot coach and 18 foot trailer. Will we fit?
Not sure. You’d have to check with the host. Search Boondockers Welcome just south of Portland ME.
